Pops' Costa Rica Travel Guide, The Coldest Beer I Ever Had

My son and I hiked 5 miles up to the La Fortuna Water Fall this year in Febuary. Febuary is the dry season in Costa Rica and the temperature was hot as it normally is. When we got there we had the pool at the bottom of the waterfall to refresh ourselves. The water is ice cold but felt good.

On the way there we passed a bar along the way at the edge of town. As we were hiking back and starting to heat up we decided that we would stop at that bar. When we got there we really needed that beer. We sat at the bar and ordered our beers. The bartender pulled two bottles of Imperial out of a chest and each one was covered with a sheet of ice.

Imperial is the national beer of Costa Rica.

That was the coldest and best tasting beer I have ever had.
