Last night Kevin and I had one of the most crazy nights we have ever had. I had heard about The Robot Restaurant before I booked it but I never expected it to be this cool.
When you arrive you go into a reception area where you sit in snail chairs and listen to a guitar player dressed as a robot. There is a bar and you get to know some of the other people seeing the show. We met a group from Utah and a couple of actors from New York that had just completed filming a season of a Korean TV show.
You are then escorted to your assigned seats for the show. We had great seats in the front row in the middle. We had no idea what to expect.
The show started with drummers on robots and continued with fighting robots, pandas fighting robots, aliens, tanks and everything else your mind could dream of on acid. There is plenty of music, fireworks and dancing.
There were a few brief intermissions to move robots in and out but they were short and the break gave us time to buy more booze.
If you go to Tokyo you have to go to this show. We had the best time.
